Boo

We adopted 2 cute gray little kittens from the Helen Woodward Animal Center last February (2006). Boo was 14 weeks old and Sophie was 21 weeks old. We fell in love with Boo because he kept walking up to the bars of the cage and making this cute little squeaky meow at us and looking up with his pleading yellow eyes! He is quite the ham, he loves any form of attention. He especially loves it when you rub his belly! He demands more affection than any cat I have ever had! He used to start purring just because we walked into the room! He is always waiting for us at the front door and when I am walking he runs in front of me, flops over on his back and looks up at me pleadingly to rub his belly. He is very un-graceful because when he flops around he just sits in whatever position he lands in! He used to try to sleep on my neck, curled up right under my chin, well I am lucky that now he is much bigger he doesn't do that anymore!

Sophie

She is 7 weeks older than Boo, but at this point he is much larger than she is. It took them awhile to figure that out, for the first 6 months she was definitely the dominant cat but now the tables have turned!

She is a very dainty little cat. She sits very politely with her tail neatly wrapped in front of her legs. This is very funny when you compare it to the fact that she is always the smelly cat!!! She is very shy, but when she is in the right mood she likes to walk up and butt her little head into my face. This is very cute and affectionate and everything, but hold your breath because her mouth always smells like rotting fish!

She has the biggest, fluffiest tail I have ever seen and she purrs so quietly you have to put your ear right up to her to hear it. And while Boo loves me the most Sophie has definitely picked Trevor as her favorite human and spends many hours sleeping in his lap while he plays video games.
